JMR draws influences from RnB, Jazz, and old school Soul and Funk, with influences such as Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Joss Stone, Chaka Khan, Esperanza Spalding and H.E.R. Her voice is both soulful and powerful - she has a unique tone that is guaranteed to surprise you.

ORIGINAL EP: JMR - Jessica McPherson Riley - has partnered with renowned Writer/Producer Phil Turcio (‘Signals’  2016, mixed by Dave Weckl) to release a powerful new EP, with singles, 'The Heart' (released July 2024), ‘All My Love’ (title track), ‘I Can Feel You’, 'World Ballad' and 'All I Ever Wanted'. ALL OUT NOW via ALL music platforms. To tantalise listeners, the EP has 6 singles that are being slow released via all online music platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. 
The remaining singles will be released, this year.

In addition to her original music releases, JMR is also an established live vocalist who performs every weekend. She has performed internationally and throughout Australia.
